The Northeastern University Marine Science Center is hosting a selection of Lecture Series this fall. The first lecture is: Environmental Benefits and Impacts of Aquaculture and Relevance to the North Shore
Lecturer: Dr. Joe Buttner
Dr. Joe Buttner is an Associate Professor of Biology at Salem State University. He is a AFS Certified Fisheries Scientist with an aquaculture specialization. His research and extension efforts target freshwater and marine organisms. From fin-fish to shellfish, as well as open, semi-closed and closed systems – Dr. Buttner has delivered in excess of 100 presentations before professional, technical and lay audiences.
